uv coating

There are many ways to initial the curing of materials. Anything with an active double bond can be cured using UV light or and electron beam and an appropriate initiator. UV Cure Resins allow for 0 VOC products that cure to produce high-quality end-use coatings for use on wood, concrete and various substrates in the printing ink market. Typical resins include epoxy acrylates, polyester acrylates, and aliphatic urethane acrylates among other variants.

These can all be readily synthesized and formulated for end-use products in our labs allowing you to develop unique and versatile UV curing resins.

Our scientists have worked in this area with a variety of applications from UV coated printing inks and industrial flooring. In certain projects, they’ve managed the process of curing them into the system to reduce leaching
